Second attack vs. Third attack

Will you get your third strike in a single round without practicing second attack? Or does this work like kick where your second attack needs to connect first?

That's not *totally* true. Second attack and third attack are completely separate skills. Third attack has a much lower percentage chance to hit than second attack does. If you practice third attack without practicing second attack, you'll only ever get two hits. plus you'll get the second less often than if you'd practiced second attack but not third.
