Humming

Is the humming-flag actually doing anything or is it just something from the original merc-code?
Anyway, what do you think about makig it work like flaming eq does, but instead of increasing magic skills it could boost the martial arts. or maybe even physical damage?

It prevents sneak, like the glow flag

To the best of my knowledge, all humming does is make it impossible for Kenders to sneak. They need to remove all of their humming and glowing armor in order to use this ability.

it also cancels hide, but since hide is almost completely useless anyways, that hardly matters.

I always hum when I'm doing martial arts. It gives me +3 dex. *realizes he's taking BR way too seriously*

Well, humming makes the martial artists concentrate better.. just an idea I got... wouldnt it make some sense?

umm... no, they use kiais to focus their mental energies into the blow... external objects have no relation to that focus, except possibly as a target they're trying to hit.
