okay, EB is doing a bunch of coding so i thought i'd throw out a suggestion.
as far as I can tell, dispel evil is a fairly useless spell right now. i like the idea of increasing the damage of any spell that is limited by alignment/weather/indoors/etc.
also, evil currently has two great exclusive spells: death field and to a lesser extent energy drain. buffing dispel evil might help balance the alignment distribution of high lvl morts.

A complete spell rebalance is on my plate, but I haven't worked out where I want spell damage to fall at a base level, yet. In particular, I'd like most every spell to be useful (at a per mana cost basis) to some extent. I.e. even that shoddy little magic missile spell can do reasonable damage compared to its mana cost.
