Okay, I doubt anyone but Slart and a few other people who really know the particulars of the resets section of our area files will understand the details behind this, but the concept is pretty simple.
I'd like it if we could re-work the code for randomizing exits so that you can specify certain exits that always stay the same in a room, while the others scramble on each repop. Thus, you could have a room in a random maze that has exits in all directions, but the east exit will always lead out of the room, while north, south, and west, will lead to one of three random rooms. I think I know how it could be added in to the code without too much trouble, but I'll wait to see if other people want this and to give Slart a chance to chime in on things, too.
This is a logical suggestion that would fix some sketchy spots in certain areas where the room description claims the maze exit is in one direction, but it isn't guaranteed to be so. Certainly this will be part of the new area format.
