Should races who get infravision be able to see in the dark as if they carried a light?

And it's back! The infamous infravision thread!

I'll repeat my point from the last forums...

Infravision as I have always understood it everywhere is the ability to see heat sources. When you have a light, you see a lot more than just things emanating heat. You can see detail to the finest degree with full illumination.

So, basically... no.

Ok, so how about seeing mobs/players in the room, but nothing else?

I'd rather see that as another spell/skill for someone else.. infravision is finethe way it is, if we can use that for something else, then great.
