Barren Realms MUD

Ever since I started playing in the TGames, I've had to walk everywhere I
needed to get. It made me appreciate teleport and track much more, so I
have one question to ask. What is the most difficult maze, for you, to travel
through to get to your destination?


I'd have to say the Astral Arena to get to the lich-queen. I am never able to
get through, even if my life depended on it. I always have to teleport/track
to get to her.

Well, I would say Clocktower, but thats only because its the only one ive been in lately. That is, unless im an avian again.....

I say unfair question - for me. I've never explored the other areas but Clock Tower on my own. If I have been to the other areas, someone usually led the way and probably had track.

any maze where i'm not an avian and actually have to stumble through it.

the forest maze in ultima is kind of tough, too.

*Shudders* Mazes. The shadow grove one isn't too bad depending where you are trying to go, if the weather is good, because of scan. Astral arena has some nice clues with exit descriptions. Clock Tower is annoying, because it was designed without clues to help you and you have to go through effectively two mazes to get in, and I second that forest maze in Ultima, for some reason I tend to take forever to get through it, but it's pretty tiny.

The most annoying maze though has to go to Yama, there is a maze in one of the bubble worlds that is HUGE. Try going through that one without an avian. *Shudder* Only takes an hour or so..
