It was my understanding that it is a rule to not carry more than 40 of any one object. It does show up after you log in, after all...
I donate or destroy anything I have over 40 of, even imm gifts. I have heard conflicting opinions about this rule. Some say it is alright to carry however many you want. While others might say that imm gifts are an exception. Please tell us, Kiri, what you prefer.

eventually things will be coded so that this isn't an issue. 40 was an arbitrary number picked on my end. If you have, say, 41 or 43, the world isn't going to end. However, with stars, I typically make a "blue star" that counts for 40.
